The girl I went out with on the blind date was actually 4'11". That's way too short. I've gone out with a women that was 5'6", and that height was cool. When she wore heals we were about the same height. I wouldn't go with a woman who was taller than me, plus women that wear really high heels like the stilettos (not sure how to spell it, but you guys no what I mean) that's a turn off to me. I like the lower business type of heal, so women that are 5"6' are great, and I just remeasured myself too. I'm actually 5'9". I wasn't too far off though. 5'8"/5'9" same thing.

If he used "n$gger" at any point to anyone even as a joke...yellow flag. I generally don't like to hear people use it, no matter what race. If he used it directed at me: red flag. If he was a non-minority and used it at me: I wouldn't even say good bye as I headed out the door.

Something just came to my attention. When women describe themselves by comparing their features to food and beverage items. For example when they say "I have cocoa colored skin with coffee colored eyes" or they say their eyes are shaped like some kind of nut or something, or I have honey colored skin or something stupid like that. I hate that. RED FLAG ALL THE WAY. That's ghetto.

Aren't you overreacting just a little? Metaphors are cool. I sometimes say I have "raven waves" or "creamy skin".
Perhaps it may be a pet peeve, but does it merit a RED FLAG? Shouldn't the term red flag be saved for true dealbreakers like "she does drugs" or "she's pressuring me to do things I do not feel comfortable with" or "she has absolutely no ambition other than to get a sugar daddy to buy her stuff"???

Nope. It's not overreacting at all. It's the small things I look for, that determine if she's right for me or if I'm right for her. Drugs are the last thing I look for. The small things put her in the friendship category way before I get to the drug use and alcohol abuse. And yes, that is a definite red flag. Now of course, if she's a druggy or a drunk, oh yeah, immediately she's done. I wouldn't even be friends with a woman like that. If she smokes weed or any kind of drug or drinks to get a buzz or drunk, she's history.
I've never heard anyone use raven waves or creamy skin. That wouldn't raise a negative flag. It's certain food and beverage comparing that raise them. "Olive" complexion would be o.k. too. It's just certain ones. Similar to the ones I mentioned above.

Granted, I do agree that he is overreacting. But at the same time, metaphors like your examples aren't cool when it comes to describing oneself. Unless maybe you're writing poetry or something creative. Even then, terms like you used are sorta corny.

The way I see it, if you're having to describe yourself in the first place, you are obviously using either the internet or some sort of dating service, as people who have met in person, don't generally describe themselves to one another - so you're already "that person" anyway.

I'm not sure what everyone else was referring to, but I don't internet date. I was referring to some of the blind dates that I've had.
