Please tell me that by talking about the "complexities of the social world" you are not making this into a "race" thing, either. I would hate to see this thread go in that direction.

Interesting that you can foolishly direct people to the military like a cheesy 1980s commercial aimed at high school students, but people can't talk about the correlates of unemployment.

I don't think race was embedded in what Kevin was saying, but there are segments of society that have been hit harder by the recession. That is as much of a coincidence as my directing you to my siggy.
