This discussion is about ALL of the CORRELATES of unemployment. I am shocked and appalled that you self-proclaimed intelligent and well-educated adults think that you can isolate employment status from the complexities of the social world.

Please tell me that by talking about the "complexities of the social world" you are not making this into a "race" thing, either. I would hate to see this thread go in that direction.
