I'm on boy #3 and have had horrible morning/noon/night sickness with all of them- so I cannot imagine how bad it would be if I had a girl!
The sickness for the most part went away around week 16, however I still have certain foods (like Chinese Buffet) that I can't even look at without getting sick. I guess too many memories of what it tasted like the second time around.

Oh, and I still gag when I brush my teeth in the morning. Anyone else have this problem? My 2 year old now fake gags when I brush his teeth. I think he thinks that is part of the teeth brushing process.

That's cute about your toddler! Like you, I still gag when I brush my teeth... and so does my mom! So, I'm not expecting to ever get over that.

One of my doctors said she thinks that women whose first pregnancy is with a girl get sicker than those whose first pregnancy is with a boy. Something about the influx of female hormones, which are the ones essentially responsible for the morning sickness.

Oh, and Leslie, you should prepare yourself for some major heartburn. It seems like the women who suffer from morning sickness subsequently suffer from heartburn in the last trimester. I popped Tums like candy! (Hopefully, however, you'll avoid this pregnancy side-effect!)
