I bet when dude got back in the car, his own pants zipper came down smoother than butter on a hot biscuit. Ain’t no fumbling when he’s got your thighs on replay in his head… meanwhile with somebody else’s breadsticks just sittin there in the passenger seat like “I ain’t part of this mess.” LMFAO!

Dude saw a snack when you opened the door, CG. He served you a pizza while you served thighs with a side of sweatshirt causing him to go to his car to toss his own dough LOL!!!!

How’d you know he was still out there? Lol

Lol! For real though, I’ve never been to Minnesota, but I’m always hearing on the news how cold it is up there. But when pizza delivery dude peeped CG, he thought he stepped straight into a sauna and forgot all about the snow LOL!

GC thank you for ending the year with laughs like this via CG Lol.

WIFLSRN: Has anyone seen “Mufasa: The Lion King”? My kids want to see it so we’re going to see it now.

CG, your sense of humor and you laughing with me at my jokes about you is beyond reproach. Most folks would get mad. You’re my favorite GCer for that reason. Thanks for the laughs Lol!

I don’t like Disney movies. The movie selection this holiday season is horrible.

Hope thing have been well for everyone here. Some updates from me is that this year I 1) Got married (civil only, wedding is planned for 09/2025 in my hometown) and 2) I moved to Japan 9 months ago. I know they're big updates/life events but they're normal enough that it feels like a birthday. You may turn 40 but you feel like you're 39 still for a few months.
Hey Xant! You've been a bit quiet on Facebook too, but I did see that you got married and moved to Japan! Congrats!

Let me know what you think! I want to see it. I saw previews! We might go tomorrow night.

Well, since Japanese is my third language and definitely my weakest, I sometimes take advantage of the fact that I'm an expat and use a lot of "Oh... hmmm... sorry... I don't understand..." and a lot of other filler words and smiling, nodding and saying "Ah yes, uh-huh, I understand." (I do not.) Foreigners can get away with more social faux pas because of either language ability and/or not being raised in the culture and missing unwritten rules.

Thanks! Yeah I do a lot more watching than posting on Facebook, something I learned a while ago from posting a few things that people took issue with. Generally I do try to update when I feel like I have something to say, but I don't want to turn my friend's feeds into those terrible "Here's 10 reasons why Japan is living IN THE FUTURE!" videos. (We aren't. People still use fax machines and paper records at city and local offices.)

Living here is just like living anywhere that isn't your home country (or even your own country depending on how varied it is). There are cool things, less than cool things, some things that make more sense than how we do it in the US and somethings that feel completely backwards.

If you do move somewhere that isn't your home country, please do really try and learn the local language. Being a mostly functional adult that is now functionally illiterate is the best way to experience neurodivergence I've found.

Alright, I'll get off my soapbox now, lol.
