Thank you nolefan! And congratulations on your middle daughter turning 13! That's a big one. I hope the slumber party went well, that the girls helped keep you distracted, and that y'all danced into the night.
Three daughters? That's a lot of recruitments.

I only have my one daughter and one son who is still in high school. My husband is not a fan of Greek life even though he dated me as a sorority woman, so jury's out on who will end up influencing our son more.
With the breaks...the same thing happened to me with my daughter's schedule during the philanthropy round! I'm so far removed from my own recruitment and not at all in the know about Ole Miss recruitment that I almost had a panic attack. Thankfully things turned out okay. Congratulations to your daughter for having a full schedule and being happy about all of the houses she has left. I think that your daughter sounds like she has an amazing attitude about this process. She seems to be taking things how they go and I think that being relaxed is the only way to get through this in a positive way. I hope she gets her top choice on Sunday, but if your daughter has a relaxed and grateful attitude, I'm sure Sunday will go swimmingly no matter where she ends up.
PPP is so excited as well and I'm so glad that she didn't let tent talk influence any of her decisions. We talked about it a bit last night after I got in (the drive was fine but I was tired after hours of driving!) so after our talk I went back to the hotel and we had an early night. I asked her if she wanted to spend the night in my hotel room, but she said that wasn't allowed to do that, so we got together for a quick breakfast this morning, after which she had to go get ready because they had to meet at 12:15 pm for preference. I didn't realize how early in the day preference would happen, but this will give us a chance to get dinner together afterward and maybe catch a movie so that we're both distracted. The Martian just came out and is supposed to be good.
I do hope you're not getting too much rain! I've heard that hurricane Joaquin has been terrible! Hope you're hanging on and that it's not as bad as was expected!
In other news, I can no longer get updates about how PPP's rush is going because last night I accidentally smashed my iPhone. Now I don't have any means of taking pictures or video tomorrow since I also forgot to bring my camera. The nearest Apple store is 2 hours away and my phone insurance won't ship to an address that isn't my home address. Not that I'd be able to get a delivery on Sunday anyway. PPP keeps saying that I wouldn't get any good photos or videos anyway so why worry about it? I guess if she's not fussed about it, I shouldn't fuss about it either, but this is one of those cases where I as a mom get pretty wound up and my daughter is pretty chill. She said there are going to be many photos taken and she would take a lot with her phone as well, so I will have a photo or two of her with her new letters.
Does anyone know how long the bid day festivities go on for tomorrow? I know that we need to get to the Grove by noon and that bids are distributed just at 1:15. I'm assuming it'll be an all day thing with bid day parties in the evening and that PPP and I will just get breakfast on Monday before I drive home. It's a pretty quick trip and that makes it quite tiring. But I'm glad I came, even though PPP is busy with the whole recruitment thing.
