I remember SMU being kicked around a lot too. I have a friend who is convinced that it's a composite mixture of SMU and Indiana. She attended Purdue but has traveled quite a bit as a volunteer for her sorority and actually took the time to write out details that she thought were telling. The deferred rush being one. How many large scale competitive recruitments occur in the winter? That detail alone would narrow down the list quite a bit.
