It is a cute pairing. I would only worry about colors being mistaken for her wanting to show preference to a sorority if she wears those colors EVERY DAY of recruitment.

I think most color combinations that PNM's wear during recruitment are somehow going to be a sorority's colors. I wouldn't sweat it. As a current member, when I rush girls I wouldn't think twice about a girl wearing my sorority's colors (unless it was completely obnoxious and incorporated into every aspect of the outfit.) Especially colors that generally go well together and are often worn together.
