I feel that since she was there to cause trouble in the first place, she got exactly as she deserved.

There is a video though which addresses some of the 'conflicting reports'

I don't believe the people involved were 'security' and could still have been charged with assault and false imprisonment for the restraint or placing feet on shoulder. It's not fucking ok to lay hands, or feet, on someone and it's not ok to stomp them either.

Except, you know, video.

As a note, I'm a huge Rand Paul fan.

It's like a civil war in Africa; you know, it doesn't really concern you too much. - P.J. O'Rourke

She's playing Rebel Without A Cause, Rage Against The Machine, I'm Unique Because I'm a Non-Conformist. Pick one. She's still upset about he ex, and she's trying to act like she doesn't give a damn about anyone or anything. Look at the southern shoes thread... "I'm not following any social rules because social rules are stupid". Yes - I went there, because someone needed to call her on it.

That was way harsh, Jess.

Whatever it may be, if someone is posting in a way we don't care for and we know they have real issues in their life it is kind of different to call them out as opposed to someone who doesn't let on that there is something going on that isn't just sand in a vagina and a crappy personality. I've called people out who I think are ridiculous but not if I know there are real issues at play. I'm not saying we should be supportive and like everyone, but acknowledge there are some people going through rough times and if being on GC and not being pleasant gets them through another day and through their shit in one piece I can ignore it because at least they are making contact with the world somehow.

Not that I know enough about Drolefille's personal life and motivation to be for sure anything is really going on, but am applying this to other people who have been here and not always been in sync with us and it is obvious something larger is at play whether it is ever confirmed or not.

When you get anything about me right, feel free to try and call me on it again. Seriously, anything. Go ahead. I'll be right here.

I'm just trying to figure out how being anti-assault is non-conformist these days.

It's not a matter of "posting in a way I don't like". As someone in the psych field, she should realize that sometimes it takes a harsh call-out to wake up and take a look at what you are doing. I've gone this road on GC myself - being a total bitch (not just snarky) until someone called me out on it and made me take a look back at myself. Yeah, I hated that person for saying it (for awhile, I got over it...in fact I'm not even 100% sure who it was. I'm thinking kddani) - but I needed to hear it. I was taking personal issues out here and had a complete personality flip flop. Once I recognized it, I could make the decision to stop. Yes, I still get bitchy sometimes - but it's more of a mood thing and not a constant.
