I'm just wow at this. You complained one fraternity turned you off because they didn't talk about anything but partying. Yet you dropped a fraternity you got along with because they didn't do events with the sororities. I'm sorry dude, but it sounds like you are interested in going Greek for all the wrong reasons .

I didn't want to join a fraternity, in where they're not close they just get together and party 24/7. But then again if I do party I am a guy and a would like for their to be girls there. Sorry most guys like having girls at parties.

fixed that for you
I like reading a rare fraternity live recruitment. The OP is just too detailed and has typed a couple of things that should've been unsaid.

Hmm, not quite sure how to take this.
Let me try to explain it to you this way. You are a Brother from the day you are initiated to the day you die. I know brothers who have been best friends with each other for over 50 years, yet wouldn't have even met if not for the fraternity. That is what being in a fraternity should be about, the unending bonds. Look, as you get older you are going to get to a point where you are no longer interested in partying. You will also if you are fortunate find a woman you will marry and spend the rest of your life with. Partying and girls might be important now, but not for the rest of your life. Your Brothers on the other hand will. It should be all about the connections you feel, not who has the best parties or hangs out with the prettiest girls.

This was the main thing I was looking for in brotherhood. You actually described it down to the tee. Im going to go ahead and finish this story though. If anyone knows how to quote my whole story, please do that it would be much appreciated.
Thursday was the first day we could of receive bids. I went to Black first and they all were cool. As I was leaving i was offered a bid. I told them i was making no decisions until friday though.
I then went to Red. Immediately was offered a bid. Told them the same thing though.
Then I went to Orange I was having a great time, one of my friends was offered a bid. I waited a little . But no bid was offered to me at the time.
Blue, they had a nice setup and i was offered another bid, i told them the same thing though. I was waiting.
Friday night I was invited back to all the fraternities. I went to Orange first. i was enjoying myself but after about an hour or so, i realized that I was not going to recieve a bid. They were my first choice in my opinion at that time.
I decided to cut Blue because i felt they just didn't have the brotherhood I was looking for.
So it was down to Red and Black... i picked.....

I'd simply take it that he's in college and wouldn't be opposed to parties that he'd consider fun coming along with the brotherhood.
Do you blame him?

Had you cracked the code and figured out that Black = Sigma Chi already?

Congratulations on going for the right brotherhood for you and selecting Sigma Chi. I hope your dad is supportive of your decision as well! Good luck with your new brothers.
