Okay, 1. Bump-its work.

2. Sorority girls all over have poofs. Although not to Snookie's excess. If she wasn't a chubby midge, she'd have to worry about ceiling fans taking that off.

This show is so wrong in so many ways.

This is comedy gold, and I don't just mean the grammar and spelling.

From her "about me" page...she had some amazing credentials!
"Jenni Farley aka JWoWW was twenty one yrs old when she moved from rural upstate New York, to New York City. Since Jenni was Seventeen she was interested in computer programming and spent 3 years studying it. After fulfilling her desire to be a computer programmer, Jenni realized she had a passion for fine arts and graphic design. Shortly after finishing 4 years of study at a local university she opened her own free lance graphic design business known as Jenni Farley Designs Inc. In early 2008 Jenni was appointed vice president of marketing for the well known IgnitionNation.com social networking website.

Jenni always had a thing for nightclubs, but being the impatient & easily annoyed type never wanted to wait on the lines. It was the long lines, cold winters, and fake club promoters who think they own NY that got Jenni to realize that she wasn't going to be like everyone else who had to wait or pay to get into clubs in the tri state area. After conquering the club scene on long island and much of Manhattans outlaying boroughs she realized she wanted to reach out to the rest of the country by telling her story through MTV's newest reality show "Jersey Shore"."

So well known I've never heard of it. Her outfit a couple weeks ago was a hot mess. Yellow piece of fabric masquerading as a shirt, no bra, acid washed/bleached torn jeans with a wallet on a chain. If she had been in Walmart I'd have submit her photo to www.peopleofwalmart.com

I mean who waits or pays to get into clubs in the tri state (New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania?) area when you've been on an MTV reality show? I also didn't realize that the borough of Manhattan has outlaying (outlying?) boroughs, is it dividing like cells of an accidental pregnancy? Is there some hot club on Ellis Island I'm unaware of with an immigrant theme and I need to come dressed as my ancestors did 100 years ago?

If you think JWOWW's Web site is terrible, check out Pauly D's:

Yes ma'am. Not a good look if you need a sign in the middle of your chest that says "Next Breast 5 Miles."

I thought the tri-state area was NY/NJ/CT, but I guess it all depends on perspective. I grew up in Fairfield county and we only got NY stations on TV.

I guess you learn something new every day!

No, you're correct. There are plenty of "tri-state areas" throughout the country, but if you're in New York you're referring to NY/NJ/CT.

Also regarding the "outlying boroughs:" New York City has five boroughs - Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, and the Bronx. So saying anything is a "borough of Manhattan" is incorrect because Manhattan is itself a borough.

The people who told me Tri-State included PA were all from New Jersey and went to school in Philadelphia, New York City, or elsewhere, so this makes more sense to me as I was on the receiving end of their perspective. Also Connecticut doesn't touch New Jersey and my construct of Tri-States is all of them touching (example Idaho Oregon Washington; Montana Idaho Wyoming). Long Island is protecting Connecticut from New Jersey.

At least I knew the borough thing was all wrong

YES!

The bump-it works pretty well actually. I've never tried it, but I know some girls that use them. You can tell it's a bump it though, cause the hair looks like it cannot move at all. Hence why Snookie's is definitely not a bump-it.

Yes and when you properly know how to back-comb, you don't need a $10 piece of plastic.

What did everyone think of last night's episode? I kinda like Snookie. She's actually my favorite. No matter who that guy hit, though, I wanted to reach through the TV and beat his ass. He then claimed he had just gotten punched in the face and that he's never seen her in his life. Dumbass.

If I'm teasing my hair to bump-it-size proportions, it's usually because I'm doing an updo and going somewhere.

You actually have to tease your hair a little bit in order to get it to stay in place; the reason I like the bump-it is because you don't have to tease it as much, thus doing less damage to your hair.

Teasing doesn't damage your hair as long as you are careful with it. If you rip a brush through it at the end of the night, yeah you'll break it. Best bet is to leave it till you wash it and if it's still knotted, a nice leave in conditioner will take care of it and you just have to comb slowly through. (I used to work in a hair salon and the girls poofed pretty much everyone's hair that they styled. You might have already known all this, but for those who don't. I've seen girls rip through their hair with a brush and it makes me cringe!) I tried using Bump Its and your hair really has to be the right texture. For fun they tried it at the salon on a girl. If your head isn't the right shape and your actual strands of hair are fine, it's not going to stay, or if it does it will eventually show through. I wish I had the right shaped head and thicker hair strands to pull it off. Artificial poofs (mine does it automatically) do not look great on me.

I had to share this with you all: http://www.hulu.com/watch/115772/the...sey-shore-cast

Don't watch this at work unless you want your co-workers looking at you weird for cracking up in your office.
