I agree that their family lifestyles look typically Italian. My family gatherings consist of a bunch of loud, rowdy, short Italians trying to talk over eachother.
I was just saying that these people, by constantly talking about being Italian, referring to themselves as guidos and guidettes 24/7, are trying way too hard. I also don't like when people proudly say they're Italian just because of their last name, but do nothing to appreciate their heritage.
As for the "salute" comment, I don't ever use that word so my apolgies for googling it and coming off as a fake Italian.
