No, I wasn't. I mean, I don't agree with everything madmax says, just the part about people relying on the freebies that I and others have to pay for. DrPhil, I understand some people are less fortunate than others and it's not always their fault. I just have a problem with people who are lazy, disrespectful to others, and/or depend on the tax payer to take care of them and all of their kids. Stop having kids if you can't afford them.

Versions of capitalism require some level of haves and have nots, so that is neither here nor there. But, had you seriously never heard of the initiatives under the war on poverty? I'm just trying to understand.

Oh, that part. Yes, that part was my sarcasm about the rich or poor comment. But the war on poverty, I seriously didn't know about.
