This is exactly what came to mind for me, also!

Just a few things in the plus column for me for this decade would include:
- graduating high school
- **joining Alpha Sigma Tau**
- graduating college
- The Patriots winning three Superbowls
- The Red Sox FINALLY winning the World Series.. and then another.
- The Celtics winning the NBA Championship title

(Come ooooooon, Bruins!)

10 years is a lot to remember... well, 9 years

My back up argument (excuse) is "I did say "practically" in the title!"

But I will stick by my argument, astronomical calendar is my choice. hehe!
