Recruitment Forum TOS

People come to this forum for advice, in the hopes that someone may have a modicum of experience with their current situation. Even if they do a search, they may not find the answers they seek. Just because it is the 1000th time you've seen a post about rushing as a junior, or what about XYZ campus, it is the poster's first time and they shouldn't be berated for their questions.

Everyone on Greekchat should be an ambassador for Greekchat. Unless someone's first post is rude or spam-ridden, everyone deserves to be welcomed warmly and to be given respect.

• Do not bring arguments from locked or edited threads into other, open threads. Especially when it pulls away from a valid discussion.
• Do NOT cut & paste PMs into threads.
• Do NOT threaten others. After all, this is the internet, what are you going to do, really?
• The shock value of vulgar language wears off after its continued use. If you can't get your point across without the use of multiple 4-letter words, maybe you shouldn't be posting in this forum.
• If you can't be honest and forthright without being insulting, maybe you shouldn't be posting in this forum.
• Remember your Creed, Symphony, Mission, Goal Statement, etc. Before you post, ask yourself "Am I living up to the expectations of my sisters, my fraternity, myself? Can I do better? Should I do better? Am I setting a positive example on behalf of my organization?"
• Personal attacks, flames, vulgarity, C&P of PMs, general unsubstantiated rudeness, etc. will not be tolerated in the Recruitment forum and all sub-forums.

My goal and Carnation's is to make these forums a place for open, honest and positive discussion of GLO recruitment. Even negative answers can be phrased in a polite way.

We no longer have the time to PM everyone whose threads are either deleted or edited for content. Please be assured that if we delete or edit a posting, it is because we have received one or more 'reported' post messages, PMs or direct emails and have found the complaint to be valid and in keeping with our goals for making these two forums a welcoming environment.
