Speaks for itself. Started out while an undergrad in 2005, choosing NOT to rush b/c of being married. Decided to AI while still in school. (Yes, I remember the thread when it was brand new...) Interested in 2 sororities. Contacted two sororities. Waited, graduated, and now finally found a "home" (gag)...

I dared to speak a slight against AI.

It is not the wave of the future. It IS a way for some good, SELECT women to become productive members of GLOs through an honor bestowed upon them by a group. It should not be considered an alternative pathway to membership.

Soooo....okay, just trying to keep up. Do you feel that way just in NPC or in all GLOs? What about in NPHC sororities where it's not the standard but still "normal" to consider that as an alternative?

NPC's and NPHC's forms of membership selection are radically different even at the collegiate level. Ergo, you can't really compare them in any way.

I know. That's why, when I saw that Tippie said "all GLOs," I was taken aback. I wanted to see if she acknowledges there's difference in how it's done. I like Tippie's opinions, they make for fun threads.
