A friend and I (in college) decided to go as "Jem and the Holograms." There were four of us supposed to be doing it... but two backed out at the last minute. We had another friend with us, who was dressed as a pimp. So everyone thought we were hos, so we ran with it. It was actually hysterically funny. We went out trick or treating for Habitat for Humanity, asking for change (and candy.)

As a kid I'd go nuts on Halloween. Actually I still do. Hubby, the dog, and I are dressing up as pirates this year. I may have to post pictures if the costumes turn out as cute as I think they will. We have great plans to try to scare the crap out of the kids in our neighborhood.

My most memoriable costume was the year that my dad made me a costume that was a carton of 1/2 and 1/2 ... I wore it to school .. but had to sit in the chairs the the back of the room 'cause I couldn't fit into the seat fixed to the desk *lol* ..

for my son I got into making his costumes .. I made Zoro, two different dinosaurs, a power ranger (!), and abombible snow man -- that one was a mistake for Arizona .. it was warm that Holloween and he roasted...
