Question about pledges

A few years back Joe Namath's daughter pledged our chapter. Sure he's a celebrity in the "real world", but here at Bama he's a superstar hero. I'd say that the only significant difference for her was that Dad realized on Bid Day that he couldn't attend parent/family events. The other parents, especially the Dads, mobbed the man!!!

This is funny, other than Paris Hilton, most kids are normal and should be treated as such. They will appreciate it more in the long run. The parents may be famous, the kids had no choice who they are related to!

haha, that's funny. he's there trying to see his daughter go through an important part of her life and some jackclown is asking him to sign a napkin.
