Remember, back then no one knew diet pills and tranquilizers were addicting. This was the middle of the Depression - half the country didn't have a job, let alone one at a movie studio. You didn't look a gift horse in the mouth, you shut up and did what you were told.
Britney's parents have all that information available and they should have stepped in after the 24 hour (or however long it was) marriage to that Jason guy and made her GET HELP. IMO that was the beginning of all the craziness. At this point, I think she would have to be given an adult caretaker (if there is such a thing) because her family hasn't shown any inclination or ability to help her.

I didn't know the full story behind Judy Garland - my gosh, no wonder she was a mess, and her daughter seems to be right behind her. Good judgment is/was not their closest friend.
And totally, totally agree about that first marriage. It was such a scream for mental help, and everyone just rode on the wagon with her, rather than let her get the help she needed so badly.

wtf?
I'm not going to lie.
I have a closet full of clothes and there are times when I open up the closet and think to myself, "I have nothing to wear!!!"
I usually will throw some random outfit on... but uhhhh Britney's random outfit is.... not exactly "street wear"

So apparently Britney is trying to get pregnant again to "replace" the kids that she is loosing. Say it isn't so.

That would be sick, sick, sick. I think they're messing with everyone. It's not like they weren't fully aware their picture was being taken. Why can't that girl just SIT AT HOME for a spell? (besides the fact the tiny voices in her head won't let her)

I read on another message board that there is photographic evidence that she's not pregnant. Here's a link if you want to see it. I haven't seen it myself because I'm at work, but I've heard that it's not pretty.

I had heard that the papparazzi that took those shopping-for-pregnancy-test pictures were from the same agency that Adnan works for. So it may be Brit in cahoots with the papparazzi...like how she used to do two outfit changes a day so they could sell more pics of her.

Yea - I've heard that the guy's agency is getting all kinds of money for "exclusive" pictures

LOS ANGELES January 31, 2008, 09:09 am ET · Britney Spears was taken from her home by ambulance early Thursday and escorted to a hospital by more than a dozen police officers as two helicopters followed overhead.
A Los Angeles police officer, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak on the matter, said the 26-year-old pop star was being taken to "get help" but did not give the ambulance's destination. The Los Angeles Times, citing unidentified authorities, said Spears was taken to UCLA Medical Center to be placed on a "mental evaluation hold." Center spokesman Mark Wheeler declined to comment to The Associated Press, citing privacy laws.

I really feel sorry for her. Her life is so effed up right now.

I want her to go AWAY somewhere, with no photogs, and just get herself together.
