Deal. Now, what about Vin Diesel...

Me neither. Actually I would like to keep him and hand over Ricky Williams, former Dolphin.

Secondly,.."MIAKA" Is something in the Gay community it was never meant to surface on the campus of TSU hence the name "UNDERGROUND" those gus in Texas have taken it to a another level!!!..But little do peole know there are UG DELTAS,..they not only wear the clothes and attire of DST,..but also, know DST history becuase there are female members of Delta Sigma Theta,Inc. that help with their pledging process..we understand that we are not AKA's the actually believe because they know history and have gone through the process they are officail members of DST!! There also would be UG ZETAS and UG SGRHOS but no one is really interested in them in TN!! Also, the lies about the males joining a UG sorority because the were denied by a fraternity...FALSE!! In actuallity..some of the men in Ug sororiites are in actual frats!! People have to understand that the African-American Gay community is a totally different world...What we do we try to keep secretive!! Like I've stated before although G sorors ar taken serious to us...We know that in regular society they would be considered "taboo" that's why we were meant to be a secret and it has been kept secret at TSU for many years now!!
There are many great points that are made in this post. To all sorority members, what would you do if you found out your sorors were giving information to men who want to pledge your sorority via an underground method? To all fraternity members, how would you feel if you knew your frat brother was a part of one of these UG sororities?

Contrary to belief, these things do happen. I reside in Atlanta which is very acceptable to gay men. A lot of my friends are gay. Therefore, I've seen a whole lot of things while around them whether it be in a club or at their house. I've seen members of at least two different sororities strolling and chanting with them in the clubs. I've seen them discussing sorority information. I've also seen members of a few fraternities(to include Masons) being members of different UG sororities. Seeing is believing.

.....

What would I do?
I would treat the soror as if she were discussing info with a woman who is not a member and attempting to do some underground mess. I would discuss things with a more season soror, because the woman who is discussing sorority business with outsiders should not have the privilege of being a member neither should the person obtaining information the 'incorrect' way.

Exactly. It really is no different.

Well said. This whole issue is a hot mess. And here I thought that gay fraternities/lesbian sororities was a good alternative. Guess not.

Can you please tell us about Wade Lyle?
It seems as miAKAs are stuck on this Wade Lyle character. I would also like for someone to explain. I've communicated with a few members of the phirst pham, and they don't even know who he is. There is no written information pertaining to Wade in their history books. He can't be tied to the Lyle family. I've also talked with some 'UG male AKAs' that I know in Atlanta, and they don't even know Wade Lyle. With that said, Wade Lyle(along with miAKA's history) is just like Santa Claus, the Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy. All you have to do is believe.

um...so...what i don't really get is why this group of men felt the need to imitate an existing sorority instead of either founding a gay male fraternity or joining a co-ed organization. it's one thing to show respect and admiration for the AKA's; it's quite another to give the front that you are associated with them. and this talk about sisters giving these men information!?!?! they should be ashamed of themselves.

Wow. This is too much for me to digest. Personally, I feel that my sorority is for women who were born women. I don't have a problem with someone changing their sex, but why not come up with your own sorority. I say this because I cannot call someone my Soror if they are really my "frat".

It raises some interesting questions! I personally feel the same way.
