Well...the women tha help us have nothing to fear!!! Like it says in our code we love AKA's and most defintiely respect them...Their Identities will remain a secret!! They help becuase they want to..and we enjoy their help!! Secondly,.."MIAKA" Is something in the Gay community it was never meant to surface on the campus of TSU hence the name "UNDERGROUND" those gus in Texas have taken it to a another level!!!..But little do peole know there are UG DELTAS,..they not only wear the clothes and attire of DST,..but also, know DST history becuase there are female members of Delta Sigma Theta,Inc. that help with their pledging process..we understand that we are not AKA's the actually believe because they know history and have gone through the process they are officail members of DST!! There also would be UG ZETAS and UG SGRHOS but no one is really interested in them in TN!! Also, the lies about the males joining a UG sorority because the were denied by a fraternity...FALSE!! In actuallity..some of the men in Ug sororiites are in actual frats!! People have to understand that the African-American Gay community is a totally different world...What we do we try to keep secretive!! Like I've stated before although G sorors ar taken serious to us...We know that in regular society they would be considered "taboo" that's why we were meant to be a secret and it has been kept secret at TSU for many years now!!

All good secrets aren't really secrets.
So they do have something to fear. That's really not for you to worry about, though. Because you aren't an AKA.

There are many great points that are made in this post. To all sorority members, what would you do if you found out your sorors were giving information to men who want to pledge your sorority via an underground method? To all fraternity members, how would you feel if you knew your frat brother was a part of one of these UG sororities?
Contrary to belief, these things do happen. I reside in Atlanta which is very acceptable to gay men. A lot of my friends are gay. Therefore, I've seen a whole lot of things while around them whether it be in a club or at their house. I've seen members of at least two different sororities strolling and chanting with them in the clubs. I've seen them discussing sorority information. I've also seen members of a few fraternities(to include Masons) being members of different UG sororities. Seeing is believing.

 .....
What would I do?
I would treat the soror as if she were discussing info with a woman who is not a member and attempting to do some underground mess. I would discuss things with a more season soror, because the woman who is discussing sorority business with outsiders should not have the privilege of being a member neither should the person obtaining information the 'incorrect' way.

Well said. This whole issue is a hot mess. And here I thought that gay fraternities/lesbian sororities was a good alternative. Guess not.
