I'm guessing there isn't - maybe they have to wait until whoever is in one of the similar townhomes (if there is one, I can't even remember ) has moved out.

Can we sticky this?
As to skipping random chapter designations, I do find it weird that we have an Alpha Phi chapter, a Delta Gamma chapter, and a Delta Zeta chapter, but not Kappa Delta chapter. As for Beta Omicron, think about it, would you want to be the BO chapter?
One of my friends in ADPi at North Alabama pointed out to me that ADPi sounds like ate-a-pie if you say it with a southern accent.

Umm...correction but I'm pretty sure that the chapter at San Diego State University went dormant this year.

Southwest Texas State Chapter
Just wanted to say that Sigma Kappa's Southwest Texas State University Chapter (now Texas State Univ.) did indeed close in 1983. That was the year I went through rush. I'd love to see us both return!

I'm actually one of the founding members when Kappa Nu colonized in Spring 2006 and the reason our house is separate from the other 4 main sorority townhomes (Alpha Xi Delta, Pi Beta Phi, Alpha Phi, Alpha Chi Omega) is mostly due to the fact that those 4 have been present on Marquette's campus loooong before the administration decided to bring in a new sorority. So the 4 townhomes that are all next to each other have actually been under contract with the landlord for quite awhile and there just wasn't any available room on that area for a new sorority house. We didn't get our house until Fall 2006, and IMO, I love the fact that our's is separate from the others and also definitely looks different than the standard townhome look of the others. If you want to get a glimpse of what the Kappa Nu house looks like... www.sigmakappamu.org has a photo up of the front of the house.
I'm not sure if you noticed, but the fraternity houses on Marquette's campus are also pretty spread out, so those 4 sororities bunched together are the only ones.

Hello--not to crash, but the Zeta Lambda chapter at Dartmouth College disaffiliated from the national in the fall of 1988.

I know that we're not looking to colonize anytime in the future (busy with two now), but one day I would like to see University of Idaho. It's right next to the Alpha Gamma chapter at Washington State and we currently have no chapters in Idaho.
