I notice that you live in Somerville - so do I! If you hear of them needing alum help to recolonize, i'd be happy to play a role
I'm in agreement that it looks like we need to focus on maintaining the chapters we have so more don't close, I just looked through all the closed chapters and it makes me quite sad. Though, it should be noted that i'm sure a good portion of that is the various universities (not all, but some - like banning a greek system all together)
