Your post was misleading because it read like you weren't forthcoming with the information. Then you stated it wasn't hard to not be forthcoming because you went to a large commuter school. Thanks for clarifying that everyone knew your age and the fact that you were a single parent. Well...I guess that's what you're saying.
As far as how "busy" you would've been, MIP is supposed to be a very busy time. So having a child, or other obligations that a more traditional student might not have, is something that could be worked around if you're forthcoming.

Agreed. My prophytes knew I had a child in the very beginning, and were very considerate of my circumstances. Thanks to my line sisters, I made it through my senior year of college, single parenthood, and being online all at the same time. I don't think I could have made it without them (line sisters and prophytes)knowing this information.
I would kinda be at one of my line sisters revealing this type of information later on because we discussed those types of things during our bonding process.
Just my opinion as it relates to my situation.

sounds like you had a great support system Soror...I guess everyone's "process" is somewhat unique...but now "my soul looks back and wonder" and my LSs and I can laugh as we reminisce on that time...

Raised on her LPs on Saturday mornings while my Grandma cleaned the house...took me gaining some age to truly understand what I was forced to listen to..now I can appreciate the lessons..
