Get Fuzzy is between 3 and 5x better than Fox Trot - and Fox Trot was one of the better comics running.

I LOVE MUTTS!!
Not only because they regularly feature squirrels.
We have a comic in our small town paper called REAL LIFE..mostly about a man and wife, once in a while a kid will in in with a parent, but it is sooo true, lol.

Hmm, is it a large comic because I've seen a Real Life comic online that I like.
I LOVE Get Fuzzy, don't get me wrong. But Don't replace Foxtrot with it! (No idea if they're keeping Sunday Foxtrot or not around here)
Mutts is cute, but it falls into my "sappy and I like it once in a while" category. One Big Happy occasionally comes up with a classic moment, but it's usually just Ruthie misunderstanding a word. Even Family Circus has the rare laugh.

We've had Get Fuzzy for a while and I love it, but agreed it's no FoxTrot.
My regular reading schedule was FBoFW, Funky Winkerbean, FoxTrot, Jump Start and Get Fuzzy. Don't know if anything will replace FT or not yet. Weekend must-reads are Opus and now FoxTrot. Add in my shiny new 2007 Page a Day Far Side calendar and life is good.

Yay for you having Jump Start. I never see that in the Chicago/St. Louis papers and I'm so glad we have it. Zits is also a must read.
I'm jealous that you have Opus though.

They are going to recylce old strips/storylines too. According to the FBorFW site, they might have, say Michael, looking back at old family pics.
I *STILL* wish they'd continue new storylines until June 2009, when April is supposed to graduate from high school...(though I also thought a perfect 2007 ending would be April getting her driver's licence!)

Love it - our alternative paper used to be the only one that carried PBS, but now our horrible "we're to the left of liberal" newspaper has started carrying it too.

To hijack - we had a lunch room at work with several tables & the paper always stayed in there so we could read something on break or at lunch. There was a guy who ALWAYS came in at lunch, would pick up most of the paper, and take it to the bathroom with him. About 10 min later, he'd come back & drop the paper BACK on the table - regardless who was sitting there. EWWWW - I *know* where that paper has been, and I certainly DON'T want to read it now, much less have it dropped next to my plate of food!
Sorry - now back to your regularly scheduled thread...
