This. Frankly, if you upset a sister to the point that she wrote a letter to the chapter, then A) you probably did something nasty, catty, were a sloppy/lazy roommate, or some variant thereof; or B) the girl who wrote the letter is a terrible person, in which case you probably don't want to be in that chapter. If you can tell us what happened between you and that sister, we may be able to give you a better idea as to whether you might be able to resolve this or if you've shot yourself in the foot. Have you considered talking to the girl who wrote the letter yourself? Sometimes extending the olive branch can go a long way.
