That's exactly what we are going for in the suggestion to disband the AI Forum. A sorority should come to you to invite you to AI. Not the other way around.

You make it other people's business by sharing your story on a public message board. I don't care what any of you "AI seekers" are doing in real life, but your publicizing your sorority shopping on the internet gives others the idea that they should pursue it, too. And that's not how AI works for the vast majority of NPC sororities. It isn't something to be pursued. It's something to be approached about by a current sorority member.

That's just nothing but high-school BULLSH*T, and I have read the same thing on the AI side. If a member gets into a fight on GC with PNAI, the first thing they say is, "We'll make sure you don't get in."
As members of these organizations, we have every right to share information with chapters about PNM's whom we feel would not make good members. This is common practice and that is why we have PRIVATE MEMBERSHIP SELECTION POLICIES.

It comes from being part of an exclusive organization that does not have open membership.

ETA: The AI's don't need a forum. Once initiated, they are our sisters. These sisters, who joined through our alumnae initation programs, have 26 NPC forums dedicated to them and we want them to take part in all things in Greek Life online and IRL as our fellow equals. There should be no such thing as a PNAI because a sorority should approach you about AI in their organization. Thus there is no need for a forum about AI.
