One-third of married moms have cheated!
One-third of married moms have cheated!
"Cookie Magazine and the AOL Body Website conducted a poll of 30,000 mothers to find out just what is going on in their bedrooms and in their minds. The survey, called Sex and the American Mom, asked some interesting questions and got some surprising answers.
Most surprising - at least to me - was the fact that 34 percent of married moms said they had cheated on their spouses after having children. Why all the sneaking around? The answer may lie in another statistic: only 36 percent said they are as attracted to their husbands now as when they first married.".......

There is a survey at the end-would be interesting to see the results.
Only if you wish to of course.

im trying to figure out why this should be shocking news.
whats the percentage of married fathers that cheat? or the percentage of married non-mothers?
again, dont understand why this statistic is news.

^^Exactly. Some women cheat, but they don't get caught as readily as men.

Given that most of the research currently out there has repeatedly confirmed that between 10-15% of all births are the result of "non-paternity" - i.e., the man who is believed to be the father is actually not - this isn't that surprising.
For a very interesting examination of human sexuality, I suggest reading Sperm Wars: The Science of Sex by Robin Baker Ph.D.
Also Why is Sex Fun? The Evolution of Human Sexuality by Jared Diamond looks interesting. I've only read the first 2 chapters, but it was a pretty good start.

These wives and mothers who cheated didn't get it all out of their systems before they got married. I've been cheating on my girl, but I don't really see it as cheating, because we ain't married. Once we get married I won't cheat because by then I would have gotten it all out of my system.

I see your point, but I think the issue most people have with that is the rampant spread of STI's. It would be ashame to end your life early over a night of passion.

You'd think that with all of these studies and statistics coming out that there would be a huge overhaul in family court.
Basically family court is so stacked against men, it is totally against my self interest to ever get married. With the current lawsuits concerning paternity tests and sperm donors it's becoming even worse for men.
Why are they getting married...b/c losers would rather be with someone than be alone.

This is nothing new. Hoes claim they need love too, so they get married like normal people do.
I don't know about the rest of you jokers, but this is just me. I wouldn't give two drops of piss from an 8 gallon bladder for a low down, two timing, no good, trick a$$ hoe. Kids or no kids.

They are still women, even after having children. I'm surprised it's only 1/3.

That's horrible. I hope you found someone else who could appreciate you.

I agree 100%!! Ladies, why don't we pay attention to how men treat us AT ALL TIMES rather than convincing ourselves that we can handle neglect/abuse of any kind just as long as our men will stay with us. I was fortunate not to end up with any of the knuckleheads I use to talk to. Can't say the same for a lot of us out there.

If we don't see it as such, we're kidding ourselves.

She's in a bad situation, but what about counseling? This is a very personal issue, but I am curious to know if he doesn't think of her that way because he views her as a mommy and not "sexy" per se or if he is just not attracted anymore. There are lot of married and single people who tone it down with their spouse/partner because they're drained at the end of the day...
I agree with proceeding with caution when kids are involved, but at the same time, she has to do what is best for her.
