Pledging while Conceiving
Hi
I have a question. i'm beginning the process of pledging a sorority and my main concern is that i am pregnant. last year when i received my BSN i inquire about the sorority and later on into the year i found out i was pregnant. im pledging for the graduate level and plan on attaining my MSN this year.I wonder will this be a barrier to acceptance into the sorority? should i continue with the process or not?

You don't have an advisor that you can speak with?
ETA: This thread title seems a bit odd.

I can't comment on whether or not your pregnancy would impact your acceptance by the members, but I feel certain that pledging while conceiving would be... interesting to say the least.
As an aside (has nothing to do with sorority life), I'm pretty concerned that a nursing school graduate doesn't know the difference between conceiving and being pregnant.

I've heard there are plots like this in those movies they used to keep behind the curtain at the movie store.

Are you preparing to participate in membership intake for an NPHC sorority through an alumnae chapter?

If you are truly participating in membership intake through an alumnae chapter for an NPHC sorority, you are old enough to use correct capitalization, grammar, syntax, and know what conceiving means. We will judge you and so will members of the sorority that you claim to be joining.

Okay. Thank you for your response and honesty. I truly appreciate the comments. I will consult an advisor for further assistance related to this subject matter.
