Dear CBS,

I just read jitterbug13 and 9dstpm's letters to you and I cannot believe that The Unit will be cancelled. I just got into the show this year and love the fact that there was something on tv worth watching on a Sunday night. Now I will not totally turn my back on your network (unless you cancel CSI Miami) right now, but you really need to reconsider your decision.

Dear Allstate,

Just because Dennis will be an out of work actor, please do not drop him from your commercials. I love seeing him and hearing that melodious voice asking me am if i am in good hands with Allstate. YES SIR I AM. I have all of my policies with Allstate!!!

Dear Dennis,

Once again, I am very sorry that The Unit has been cancelled. I will really miss that show and I will miss watching you on a regular TV series. You will be happy to know that I've seen your new Allstate commercial and that I've also signed up for disability insurance at work through Allstate. I will be in good hands as of July 1st. Hubby still won't let me switch the car insurance over to Allstate.

All that aside, I am writing to congratulate you on starting your own TV/Film production company. I cannot wait to watch your first finished product which will appear on HBO in the near future. I will surely add HBO back to my cable package. Do you have any openings at your company? I am willing to work as a secretary/receptionist. I will go and get your coffee/tea/bottled water and make copies and stay late if need be. Hubby says that I cannot work for you even if you paid me 6 figures and provided moving expenses. I say let's ignore him. He'll learn to love California. Please let me know when I can start.

I will address this on your Facebook page on Tuesday, but I also wanted to wish you a happy birthday. Hubby wanted to get you that "I'm a Senior Citizen" hat that he saw last week in USA Weekend but I told him that you have no need for that. Hubby will get the hat for his birthday. Anywho, this year we're watching The Minus Man but I have not decided on the confection that I will serve. I'm on Weight Watchers now so it will have to be something that's not too junky. I'll let you know Tuesday.

I have to go now. Today's laundry day at Casa 9dstpm.

What you're doing: making out with random guys, doing drugs, getting wasted, posting half naked pics on myspace, cussing, ditching school, talking back to you mother, running away with a bunch of clothes in your spiderman backpack

What I'm doing: holding a job, earning advanced degrees, paying bills, paying rent, doing an internship, living in my own apartment, going on road trips with my friends to learn more about myself, see the world, and have fun

The next time you wanna get on your high horse and tell me how grown you are, review the above.

I thought you'd be a little more excited for me about my grade for my graduate paper. The total lack of emotion in your voice was a downer for me, so don't expect me to share any other information with you about my progress in class. I could use your support, but I don't need it to continue to do well in the class. Remember your reaction next time you ask me why I don't share things with you anymore. Jerk.

Dear Californians Who Voted for Arnold "CallyforNnia" Schwarnegger,

You suck. Gray Davis had balanced the budget with one simple vehicle licensing fee. Then y'all got star-struck...voted for an idiot who can't even pronounce the state's name correctly and now, not only did the vehicle licensing fee get reinstated, our sales tax rose to 9.75%, student fees at the universities are being increased by 20% and state university employees are taking a 4-10% paycut each month indefinitely. Thanks alot.

I think Taekwondo class is going to be a "game-time" decision tonight. (Ok, I packed my bag this morning and put it the car so I'm probably going, but...)

Monday's "combat" was tough but fun, but it's the 30 minutes of "military calisthenics" that I can really take a pass on. Really.

Haven't been this limber in a while, but what a price to pay.

Dear Self,
Wow, what a transformation you have made in less than one month. That seminar has really helped you look at us and make some serious moves and changes. Good for you. Now as we learned, you need to forgive and move on. Last night conversation with EN was not exactly how we wanted it to go, however, you did include all the points you wanted to include and hopefully it was heard and understood. It's time to release and move on. Using F.O.R.M may be the best way to elevate the change to higher levels.

We can not wait for the reunion, that will be test of all tests! You will do wonderfully. Remember, from the mouth comes the heart!

Dear FedEx,

My new cell phone was supposed to be here yesterday but you took 2 days to make a 4 hour drive. Then you tried to drop this package off at my door instead of in the main office where it was supposed to go. Now, you're telling me I can't have it till tomorrow because I'm not "allowed" to pick it up?? All y'all can go to Hades with your horrible customer service--but not until you give me my phone.

To the City of Chicago,
Instead of focusing on the Olympic bid I suggest you focus on safety in the schools. How an honor roll student can be beat to death in the daily campus fight is ridiculous. It speaks to the priorities of the city. I pray for our children's protection.

CO-SIGN with BlessedOne. I haven't been this saddened by a news story in ages. My heart is literally hurting because it's so unimaginable. Chicago, you have a LOT of work to do for your citizens, not just for the IOC's approval.

Mr. President,

I pray you will address this matter, even if briefly. I know you'll be in Copenhagen in an attempt to sway the vote in Chicago's favor, but maybe the young people of Chicago need to hear directly from you again.
