Dear First Family:
I am so proud! Miss Malia and Miss Sasha, you ladies looked beautiful. To my President and his First Lady: I love you both!! Next time though, can we get a fist bump? :P

Dear black folks:
thank you for celebrating with only happiness and joy and no stupid stuff!!

Dear USA:
Let's get this country back on track!!!

Dear Sen. McCain:
Your speech last night was truly amazing!! Now if you had run your campaign like that, the outcome MAY have been closer. I can respect a gracious loser.

Are you upset/mad/scared that Black people will do you the same way ya'll treated them? Karma is real. But we (as in those who elected President-Elect Obama, and a lot more of you voted for him that us minorities, think on that a second) are too busy being happy and getting ready to work to think about you and your small minded approach to history being made. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. Get over it. He's President. Be thankful that you live in a country where every person has a say in how s/he is governed. If you don't like it, you can vote again in four years for another President. Stop whining.

And to those of you who didn't vote for him and aren't whining, thank you.

I know that you think because we went to school together and we went to a predominantly black school that you're not racist. You are. I understand that it must be difficult to accept this fact. You now can see YOUR racism glaring you in the face and it is not a pretty sight. Please stop trying to justify it. The racists who claim they've had a black person say something rude to them (like "our president is black now what are you still doing here? Go back to Europe.") I have one thing to say: Get Over It. That's all you can do! See you're being hated on because of your political beliefs (and mostly because we all now know you're a racist). Do not claim reverse racism. Get over yourself. Even FOX News has taken a few sips of "the Koolaid" why dont you try some? It tastes great.

DANG!!! I literally ran into my ex (who now plays in the NFL) at an afterparty. He looked the same. I made SURE that I looked real cute. The look on his face: priceless. I also saw a crush and whoooooooo time has been REAL good to him. REAL GOOD!

Dear UNC-Chapel Hill:
my daughter is just as in love with you as I am. I hate that her dad is not here to see her first experience on campus, but I know he was watching. The ladybug landing on the sweatshirt she wore (her dad's) just confirmed that he was watching and smiling at her. She can't wait to go back.

Dear nikki1920: Were they stepping in stilettos or they were just wearing them? I didn't even go to my Homecoming step show when I heard the price for the general public was $5 ($3 for students) and to me that's a bad sign. And me getting old too. At least the sorors won.

To nikki1920 and CG: Don't you love it when you see an old crush and see that time has been good to them? Only problem with mines was that a girl we went to school with kept following him like a puppy dog. Anywho, the HS ex (who dumped me and didn't want me back when I did, but has been trying to win me back since) looks like someone took an air pump and blew him up. Really.

I know, right?? Only I asked mine on a date after drooling after him for years...I finally put on my big girl pants and asked him. I got a yes, but it was right around Homecoming so he was busy with Alpha foolishness...he had to cancel and never rescheduled. Not long after, he started dating his best friend (a girl from his theater group) and the man hasn't been single since. It's the saddest fairytale ever. It's like The Little Mermaid, only before Disney got to it.
