OMG, You are bring back memories! Just like a mother to tell you they love you and threaten your life in the same breath. LOL. I've heard "I brought you into this world and I will take you out" so many times I should call it my moms mantra for parenthood. That kept me in line tho because I did/do still think she would do it. And sleeping on your side is just a little bit of payback! She's letting you know who runs the house! lol.

Your pep talks are NOT pep talks. They're more like "I'm gonna call and tell you every detail about your situation and why it sucks and how its your fault and how you're about to end up a bum sitting at home with your parent and everything you should have done to ensure that this did not happen and then proceed to ask a millie and one questions". I CANNOT TAKE IT ANYMORE! I'm avoiding your calls for a reason. It really does nothing but make things worse.

Thanks! It's the guy that was suppose to receive your new hat. He calls today and said that I've been ignoring his calls. Dang right I have because I wanted him to feel what I felt when he ignored my calls. I am still hurt, and still praying. Yeah the other party has someone, so quick after our connection was broke. I want to be like Job in all situations, keep my integrity in tact. So, that is my main purpose of wanting to lay out all the truth and build trust. And, also to make sure that if there is hope in the future, to keep it alive.

But how he had responded to me and called me a screwball yesterday...maybe a golden shower on him would have him to wake up....and to have him realize I am a great woman, and he should want to have a great relationship with me.

ETA: his father sent me an email with the TD Jakes sermon powerpoint attachment called "Let's Kiss and Say Goodbye". On top of his son stating that his father was the one telling him that I am crazy. If that wasn't your first impression of me, then why make that assessment now? Something ain't right...I know it ain't but I have been advised to leave it be.

Ohio new voter registration ends Oct. 5. Early voting begins on Oct. 1. Ohio Alpha bruhs (college and alumni) let's use this time to step up chapter voter registration/turnout efforts and make it happen.

To others in the Greek family, (yeah, I know, I know, you can't do it like the Alphas) you can still do your part. A call to your county boards of election will have registration and early voting (if applicable) deadline information. Take the information, organize and follow through.

Target neighborhoods where voting is traditionally underrepresented, target senior citizens, and others, who may need rides to the polls.

Whomever is your choice, whatever is your political view, let's begin to make it happen on Nov. 4.

txdiva: She had an "excellent" first day, thanks for asking! How about your rugrats, how was their first day? They had stupid form all along.. Gotta love that.

I'm glad you want to play an instrument. Seeing as how I still have to remind you to do things, HAYLE no I am not buying you a brand new string instrument. We will rent one for the year, and if you stick with it and are serious, we'll revisit purchasing an instrument next year.

(((NIA)) I am so sending you hugs right now! It so easy to say let go and let God than it is to do when you're in the mist. I have come to realize that I will have to kiss a number of frogs before my "King" finds me. It sounds like God just saved you from a headache and you know that what HE has for us is better than we can ever imagine.

Nikki1920: My kids loved it, especially my son. He was a little hesitant at first, but he came home so excited! My oldest daughter was excited but "overwhelmed"; her classes are now broken into "periods" and not just one classroom with many subjects (she's in the 5th grade). She came home and said, 'I can't believe I have so many classes in one day!' I laughed!!!
