Nope but I wish I did. The twist and turns in this case has just been too much for me to keep up with so I summarized version would have been great. One minutes its "we have DNA that link people there" and the next minutes its something else.

I saw it!!! Those parents are fired up!! Once these charges are dropped I fully believe there will be civil suits galor against both Duke and the DA.

RALEIGH, N.C. - Prosecutors dropped all charges Wednesday against the three Duke lacrosse players accused of sexually assaulting a stripper at a party, saying the athletes were innocent victims of a “tragic rush to accuse” by an overreaching district attorney.

“There were many points in the case where caution would have served justice better than bravado,” North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper said in a blistering assessment of Durham County District Mike Nifong’s handling of the case.

Cooper, who took over the case after Nifong was charged with ethics violations that could get him disbarred, said his own investigation concluded not only that the evidence against the young men was insufficient, but that no attack took place.

Anyway, the charges were dropped. In this specific case, it was the right thing to do.

I hope these young men can recover from the stigma that has falsely been attached to them.

I hope the accuser gets a lot of psychological help.

I never said they were guilty, thus I don't need to admit I was wrong. Bother someone else with your antagonizing nonsense.

With respect to the rest of your post, you assertions are invalid, because there was nothing to "speak volumes" about as I never said they were guilty to begin with. Thus, your initial accusations weren't directed towards me, so why respond? Now that you've directed your bogus accusations towards me, I'm responding.

I really need for people to get it together. Dialogue and Constructive Criticism is one thing....antagonistic behavior is another.....

Moving on. I always wondered why the community surrounding Duke University rose up against the University so fast? It wasn't just the prosecutor but the entire community.

In comparison, I went to the University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon was one block up, and I pass University of Pennsylvania frequently. I can't see the neighborhoods surrounding these school jumping up, ready to burn the school down on moments notice. I am sure the community's would have watched closely but Duke had no support from the city of Durham.

I wonder what the relationship was/is between Duke and surrounding the community. Hmm.....

I know one thing...at least another group of people knows how it feels to be wrongly accused.

The legal system is not always fair or balanced. Sometimes people get accused of something that they did not do. These boys should be lucky that they did not stand trial, get convicted and then go to jail for 10 years of their lives before someone realized it was a mistake. Now that has happed to alot of people, mostly African-American, who were later aquitted. In the society we live in today perpetuates an injustice to our justice system that targets African-Americans by giving harsher sentences for lesser offenses. In other words before you rush to call someone else racist first look at the society that promotes racism in various ways and if you need a quick tutorial let a sister know!! Please do not forget that the prosecutor was white and he was out to get those boys. This case could have been about many issues that our society suffers from such as classism, or society's favortism towards athletes. Drawing an opinion from the facts presented is what the law is about, lawyers, judges and juries do it every day and just because someone is not the true outcome doesn't make them an a**. JMO
