1. the first picture is a bad pic.
2. the second pic is bad lighting..

I'm well aware of is follicular issues.. He's still cute to me.

Yes, the Incredibles is a good movie.. More adult stuff that goes WAY over kids' heads, but enough so that they can relate to the movie also.

There is nothing good about the way Ne-Yo looks. I've seen much nicer lips on much more handsome and sexier bruthas.

Ok, time to vent...

Dear Men (or boys) of the World,
As people get older, they learn from their experiences. Now, these experiences include relationships. So, if a woman has made the mistake of trusting too soon and getting hurt more than one time, more than likely she will learn from her mistakes and grow from it. You cannot get upset or offended if she wants to make sure you are what you say you are. Therefore, when you first meet a lady, and she makes it clear that she does not want to have sex until you both get to know each other, don't be mad. Just because you say, "I'm not in it just for sex" does not make it law. Just relax and give her time. She's not comparing you to other guys, and she's not judging you, she's only trying to protect her feelings. And if you can't wait, then maybe you are in it just for sex.

Yours Truly,
Fed Up

P.S.- She'll give you a chance if you take one.

Dear Boss:

When I came to you yesterday and suggested that the teen moms I work with attend a sexuality workshop (sponsored by the county health department) so that they can learn about abstinence as well as the prevention of HIV/AIDS/STD's, you said that the girls need to have fun actvities that they can do like going to the water park and shopping at the mall. Excuse me, these girls are having a little too much fun as is. They take their babies to daycare (which the city pays for) but aren't working or going to school; they can cuss me and the housemom and other staff out, but when we give consequences for their negative behaviors you go behind our backs and let them continue to have their sign-out privileges and allow them to go where they want when they want as long as they are back by curfew.

Please stop trying to be their friends. They had those when they should have had parents to guide them but didn't. We have one mother about to age out of the foster care system and she's expecting her second baby when her first one is not yet 2 and she does not have a high school diploma or at least a GED. We also have another mother who used crack and weed during her pregnancy, resulting in the very premature birth of her baby who is addicted and cries and shakes all the time. Did you also know that she has an STD and is refusing to take her antibiotics? Do you realize that her substance abuse alone makes her very inappropriate for our house? Not to mention the fact that she too is about to turn 18 and has only a 6th grade education and cannot read!! (I know this because I took her to Wally World to get baby formula and she couldn't read what her WIC coupons said and almost got the wrong kind of formula) I'm sure you know all of these things but you are too busy trying to plan these girls' next trip to the mall. I will continue to do the job that I was hired to do and try to get the proper services for these girls and their babies pretty much because I have my own babies to take care of.

Your very tired and frustrated case manager,

9dstpm

Dear 9dstpm:
Please tell me you are joking. What are they going to the mall for? To fill out job forms? It gets better here: How about we switched back to regular hours last month? Why did the director say that for at least a week, someone needed to stay until 7pm because the letters informing the clients of said change went out late and it would be bad customer service if we just closed at 4:30? WTF? This is not a one stop shop, so stop treating it like this is a for-profit business!!!! ARGH. And why did I hear a commercial for DC's Medicaid program that is offering free gift cards if you keep your appointments? WHAT THE HELL??? What about this process encourages self sufficiency? Clearly, by going to school while pregnant, then with a newborn, graduating and finding full time employment, I did something VERY WRONG!!!!!

Dear DHL,
You should close your doors and go out of business. After you leave the first blackberry on the porch, you go and do the exact same thing! Only this time I prove that I am smarter than you and change the address to a house. I urge noone to use your delivery method! DHL I want to fight you but I wouldn't because I've moved out of the hood. Don't think I won't take it back there, if need be!

Dear Graduate School,

After careful consideration, I have come to the following conclusion--YOU SUCK. I left a city in which I was perfectly comfortable and, aside from abandoning the only family and friends I had near me, I left behind a WONDERFUL man who genuinely cared for me. Do you have any idea how often that happens to me?!?! Now, I'm sitting here wishing I was where he is and if God sees fit, I will be in approximately 2 weeks. So there.

And to all those who succeeded in making sure I don't graduate on time:

KMFA!

Dear God,

Just tell me I'm not a horrible person. I need a sign that I made the right choice. I need to know that I just did what's best for me and that it wasn't a mistake. I need to know I didn't blow this...

Luv, CG

Dear RD and MD,

Your letters were speaking to me this morning. I needed to read them. Thanks.

Little

Dear Self,

This has been quite a year (so much better than 28 so far ). You have had some amazing experiences and met some good folks.

Try not to worry so much about what it all means. Try not to anticipate what will happen tomorrow. Just enjoy and appreciate each day and each moment as it comes.

The year ahead looks equally promising. A new place, a chance to accomplish something great. More, what are sure to be, fabulous experiences. Sure, it will be hard and sad to leave the familiar but try to embrace the change. The advice above definitely applies.

Looking forward to seeing what you do in the next year.

Sincerely,

Me

Dear You,

Too bad the timing sucks.

Sincerely,

Me

Dear Yahoo!,

What gives? I open my e-mail to find that I'm logged in under some mysterious, unrecognized name, but all the e-mails in there are addressed to me...Idon'tgetit.
