I'm still waiting. It's been almost three years since sending out my initial letter. I'm told everything is a "go" for this spring, but we'll see. I've been to three of their functions so far-- enjoyed meeting the women, and really felt a connection. They're a super group-- motivated, successful and dynamic.
My story is quite different from most of the PNAM stories I've read about on this board, as I had ties to this particular GLO in college (which I'll explain when the time is right.)
Now that I'm settled in life, I feel that I have something to give back, and hope I'll have that opportunity. I really believe in this particular GLO's goals and ideals, and can see that the women truly live them.
