Updates, anyone?
 

Hello all!

Just wanted to find out how things were going for all of us PNAMs!


Any updates?

I'm still waiting. It's been almost three years since sending out my initial letter. I'm told everything is a "go" for this spring, but we'll see. I've been to three of their functions so far-- enjoyed meeting the women, and really felt a connection. They're a super group-- motivated, successful and dynamic.

My story is quite different from most of the PNAM stories I've read about on this board, as I had ties to this particular GLO in college (which I'll explain when the time is right.)

Now that I'm settled in life, I feel that I have something to give back, and hope I'll have that opportunity. I really believe in this particular GLO's goals and ideals, and can see that the women truly live them.

How is your persuit going, Trojangal?

It's about the same...interestingly, a new group contacted me over the holiday season, and I had a wonderful conversation with a member..this kind of threw me in a whirl.

I don't have any updates on anything else.

No updates for me either...nothing new to report. :(

I haven't heard from anyone in a couple of weeks and I'm assuming it's due to the holidays.

Well, I'm still doing activities with my group: Christmas parties, Happy Hours, book club, etc. I feel very comfortable with the girls, and continue to get to know them better each time we have an activity. I still have no clue as to the status of my paperwork...and to echo what the rest of my fellow PNAM's have said, it's all about waiting!!

Nothing! I've hardly been around at all. My last contact was over a year ago, and I've tried many times to restart communication.

But...my life seems to be moving in a new direction now. I'M GOING TO BE A MOM:) Maybe some day I'll still find a home in "Little Women," but for now, I'll focus on being the best mommy that I can be. I'm so excited!

As for my update....everything is going well, I may have to miss the feb. meeting b/c of a family obligation, but I know that they will understand. I also have the list of meetings for the rest of the year and have been invited to all of them. For me also it will be a waiting game for paper work and other things (that I dare not write in fear of everything falling through)
