You could read all the books for a degree faster than 4 years on your own. You could take acredited online classes and get a degree and learn the information that way,

I think in today's day and age, and maybe always, we are more in college for the experience, a sort of rite of passage.

ETA: You are in college to get an education. If your grades are suffering, make it your priority to get them up. If sorority life interests you, keep in mind that sororities have high academic standards. This begins with the membership selection process (recruitment) and is maintained while all sisters are active collegians.
