Why not fun and old fashioned? Guys can be both, I would prefer that... goofiness/quirkiness is what makes the unique. It can also be a hell of a lot of fun too...

I think it best to reconsider what your looking for exactly. I think there are some old fashion behaviors that are virtues and some that aren't. The way a guy dresses shouldn't be that big of a deal as long as its appropriate for the occasion. I think chivalry has been lost, although I live in the district so maybe its just the culture. I grew up with the traditional southern values as did both my brothers. I'll admit I wish I could find guys that behaved more like them(and they are both a hoot and a half).

In my opinion, Its best said "I don't want you to treat me as your equal, I want you to treat me better then you treat yourself". Thats what I look for in a guy, and I would do the same for him if he were worth it(as well as being fun).

If I'm not mistaken, you can find some old-fashioned, gentlemanly type at any prestigious country club near you.

I pesonally have been there and done that and found it to be a bit of a drag. I prefer a more down-to-earth, sweet guy - one who may not know exactly all the right things to do and say, but can clean up well, knows how to loosen up and have some fun, and adores me more than his trust fund.

Basically, I echo everyone else's sentiments - you just have to find a guy with the right balance. Not an uptight Donald Trump type, but not Jack Black either. Look for a guy who is close with his family - his whole family, not just his mom!!!
