Well, that's what we do. When we're not having lingerie pillow fights and making ourselves throw up, anyway.

I have my opinion and you all have yours. Last year I was also invited to dinner with an old friend (who also changed very much). I could not believe how fake they were, and also the petty things they fought over.

How fortuntate for the friend that you were able to make it. Bet you're a real winner to have at a dinner party.

I guess I just feel more independent (sp?) taking care of myself and forming friendships with people that I like.

You have certainly demonstrated independent thought so far. What was that about how everyone at U of M hates fraternities and sororities, so you do too?

And as a side note, I volunteer at a soup kitchen and I can do charity and not be in a sorority. I also have my own connections with people all over the WORLD by talking/meeting people and traveling.

Where are my achievement medals when I need them? Someone give this girl a cookie.

If those are reasons why being in a sorority is important, then it is not for me.

I am so damn glad you're not in my sorority, or for that matter, anywhere NEAR me! Holy smokes -- who would want to be around such a soul-sucking, depressing, know-it-all, self-righetous person? NO THANKS.
