To be honest, if the allegations are true, I will be sick with grief! I can't believe that we still have chapters out there that are willing to revert back to the days of hazing...it's wrong, it's stupid and the entire chapter should be dealt with as harshly as possible

I am sorry you feel this way. I had the pleasure of meeting several chapter members a few weeks ago. My son is proud to be associated with this fraternity and looks forward to the day he will be initiated. My son has changed. I am so very proud of him. The changes I see in him are not merely a reflection of college and the independence it offers, I know the changes are due to his involvement with LXA.

I hope the sanctions the university has implemented are acceptable to LX's National HQ. It would be a great loss to my son and many other young men if they were "dealt with as harshly as possible."

I do think that ALL the GLOs need a "risk management" education, and I'm not talking about some "fluff" job. I HONESTLY
do not believe they understand the full ramifications of their actions-though this is NO EXCUSE. My heart says they have too much potential, as they have repeatedly proved, to be judged too harshly. These ARE the campus leaders, the young men with agile minds. They deserve their probation. They also deserve closer guidance and the chance to be totally cognizant of the
potential consequences of their actions. I don't believe, in an atmosphere where extreme examples of hazing exist, they considered this.
