For real question Lol.
Oh wow, yeah, I mean… at 4’11” and 300 lbs? She wouldn’t be a flyer. I’m not trying to be mean at all, it’s just that physics doesn’t really allow for that? So like, the bases have to lift you overhead, hold you steady, sometimes with one hand, and toss you up. It really has to be safe for everyone. Know what I mean? At that weight and height, she’d be way stronger as a base or maybe a backspot, where stability and strength matter more. But flying? That’d be a no for safety reasons. And I’m not judging or anything like that, it’s just that at that weight it wouldn’t work for her.

If our school had two tall girl unis but three talented tall girls, the two tall girls with the higher tryout scores were typically admitted to the squad. Purchasing a new uni for the third talented tall girl would've been too expensive, and her uni would've looked different/better than the other old unis.

In your example, I see it as unlikely a squad would've had a uni to fit a girl.of the size you describe.
That was actually still kind of true when I was in school, probably even now. A lot of high school squads still reuse uniforms, and custom ones can be super expensive. So yeah, if someone doesn’t fit what they already have, it can sadly affect who makes the team. It’s not always fair, but budgets are real.

Oh, and some schools back then were more inclusive and would try to work around it, but not every program has the money or flexibility. So if a girl was like “4’11” and 300 lbs”, it wouldn’t just be about flying, I mean, they’d also have to figure out if they even could outfit her.

But honestly? — uniform fit was half the drama at tryouts every year though, lol. Like, seriously.

WIFLSRN: So, I was heading back home from picking up a few things from the grocery store, and as I was getting onto the freeway, three bats out of hell on motorcycles were doing like 100, at least, bobbing and weaving in and out of traffic! I was so mad I could scream. It scared me! They were so loud. All it would take was another driver to not see them and crash into one of them. Now, we’re talking court dates, lawsuits because some MORON is in the hospital because he can’t walk because he was being STUPID! You know what? Motorcycles should be illegal in the state of Minnesota! Period! Ugh!

Organ transplant programs have a nickname for motorcycles: donorcycles. Sounds like you just saw why, CG.

Same. After tornados last week. This is crazy. TKEGuy still has a lot of tree to clean up. My son and his fiance lost power for a few days.

Alright, CG. AGDee and I posted our youth photos, where’s yours? We want to see high school CG. We already know what current CG looks like.

Ay y’all, I’m nervous about having my picture on here so get a good look at what I looked like at 18 because it’s about to come down. Don’t quote it either Lol

Yep. That’s what they’re called here, too. I especially get mad when I see one take up an entire parking spot where an actual car, or in my case, an SUV could’ve parked! Makes me so mad.

We had tornados, too. I mean, not near enough to where I noticed though.

Love the pic. I can still tell that’s you — just with hair, lol.

I’ll have to go through my scrapbook to see what I have. I don’t think I have any high school pictures here. I think they’re all with my mom.

I don’t have any of my high school photos here. According to my scrapbook, this was from my sophomore year in undergrad. My roommate is in this one. Had to scan and crop her out, lol. But this is the youngest image of my college photos of me that I have here. I’ll have to ask my mom for my high school pictures. But I doubt she’ll give them up.

WIFLSRN: So, on my way to the coffee shop this morning, I saw another coffee shop that’s like a hole in the wall. I totally can see why I’ve never noticed it. I think I’ll try it next weekend to see what it looks like inside. I hope I like the environment because if I do, then I can hide, lol. I swear, if I don’t see one customer of mine in there, I’m gonna be like… “Yay! Perfect hiding place!”

You look young as hell Lol. How old were you? You aged well though. Like I said, you could easily pass now for 32-35. Look at all that hair. CG, you should get a side hustle selling hair. You could start right here on GreekChat. Start a thread “CG hair for sale” Lol!

I thought you were at the university of Minnesota during college.

Just chill at home and drink your coffee. That’s what I’d do.

^^^ I was 20 then. Can you believe that was like three years before greekchat? That’s how long I’ve been on here, lol.

I was at UND my first two years and like a semester before transferring to Minnesota. I went into aeronautical studies at UND because I was obsessed with black holes, and Sagittarius A was basically my celebrity crush. But sometime sophomore year it hit me that if I can’t reach a supermassive black hole faster than I can get to Greece with a layover, what’s the point? So I pivoted to animals, at least they’re here and occasionally grateful. Vet school made more sense. I transferred to Minnesota to gear up for vet school there, but ended up at MSU instead. Same gravity, less existential doom.

No, I can’t drink my coffee and read at home because every two pages I turn in the book I’m trying to read, it’s “Mom”, “mom”, “mom” “mom”….

WIFLSRN: Finally some peace and quiet, spending time with myself. So, the coffee shop that I saw that’s like a hole in the wall, I’m here. There’s a table, two chairs and a small counter with two chairs. That’s it. Hilarious! So tiny and quiet. I’m reading “Black Hole Physics (from collapse to evaporation).” Do you guys know how long I’ve had this book? Since Christmas and I’m finally sitting down to study it. So excited!

LMAO! I just peeped this. So we can’t park our bikes in a regular parking spot? Where should we park our bikes then, CG?

Is that why you did the flight attendant thing? What would a major like that be called? And what’s the connection to astronomy?

I’d Lmao if one of your customers came in there, got a coffee and sat with you. I’d be crying laughing.
