Lol!!! Wtf? You dumped that dude in 5 days? Why? Why’d you even get in a relationship with him if you knew you were going to dump him? CG, I can tell you were the girl a lot of dudes wanted to be with, and when some dude got in a relationship with you, you’d dump him because you could. I hated chicks like you in high school and college Lol! You were that girl who never knew what she wanted - wishy washy as hell.
What’d he say when you did that shit after 5 days? You are a trip, CG. Lol

I was pretty much forced to go to my high school prom. That was a “why?” moment for me. Being there made zero sense, to me. Didn’t even ask the girl to dance.

Lol! This prom topic has got me over here cracking up. How can anybody force you to go to prom? Why didn’t you want to go? I hear you on the dancing. Unless it’s a slow cut, I’m not dancing.

My parents kept nagging me about going, so I asked somebody and went. I didn’t want to go because it wasn’t my thing. We didn’t dance because the DJ was terrible. It was 99.9% country music. Country music is the worst music on the planet, to me. Hate it. She went to a different high school but we knew the same people at my school. We sat at the table with people we knew or walked around and socialized. Complete waste of time. At the time, I could think of a million other/better/more entertaining things I could have been doing.
Man, when she’d get up to go to the bathroom, I’d start sketching cars on table napkins. Goes to show how excited I was to be there.

Lol @ you drawing cars on napkins at prom. Wow.
I've seen your cars from that school you went to in Detroit, but what did they look like in high school? Those ones you did that you posted on here were amazing. Mad talent.
Country music sucks donkey balls. Who the hell headed up y’all’s prom committee? Damn!
Btw - I’m digging your siggy change, PB. Elaborate on that.

Thanks, Phroze. In high school they were all sketched from a profile view. I didn’t know how to sketch them from different views/angles or interior sketches back then. I learned all that at CCS.

I could talk to him forever. It's always hard to hang up the phone. We are texting late into the night too- both of us having a hard time saying goodnight. We met 24 years ago. He's the only person who really knows me to my core- good, bad, ugly. He's everything I've ever wanted in a partner. A fit cognitively, spiritually and physically. I'll be connected to him in a very deep way whether we ever end up truly together or not. For the first 14 years, I thought we'd end up together at this stage of life. Then for the last 10 years, I thought there was no way it would happen. Very soon, we will both be in a position where we can possibly be together. We've been waiting a long time.
I was pretty insecure, clingy and jealous back then. I was so afraid of losing him. I think he felt too young to be that tied down too. He wanted to date other people and he dated someone else and then came back. Then a month later he wanted to date other people again. I was 19 and he was 20 so I get it. He will talk about how head over heels he was for me and how he has never been in a longa distance thing again because of how difficult it was for us to be apart during the summers. I might suggest we meet for lunch sometime when I'm on that side of the state again and see how it goes. He's close to Lake Michigan, where my future daughter in law is from. He lives in the town where she went to high school.

That’s great to hear you’re trying to establish something with a dude who knows you like that. What I don’t understand is what stopped y’all from getting together 24 years ago? Sounds like you’re creating boundaries that either aren’t there or boundaries that are easily torn down.
What’s wrong with being jealous? I think we all are to a degree. My girl is both clingy as hell and jealous, but I’ve gotten used to it. But jealousy is natural I think. Being clingy is one thing, but jealousy is normal, as long as it’s not being possessive.
Any of y’all the jealous type?

Yeah, I feel you. I see it in how folks dress now and how social media has gone flat out mad. But you still gotta live in this world, PB.

WIFLSRN: So, going back to the conversation you guys were having about P Diddy on here, there’s a really good documentary about him on Tubi. I’m watching it now. It’s SO good. They’re making it seem like so many powerful people were involved in his shenanigans.
