Me too! Lox on a bagel w/ cream cheese, tomatoes and capers is one of my favorite breakfasts!

I don't know if other people wouldn't enjoy it or not, but I've never seen anyone else do it. I love A-1 Sauce on my baked potato. A-1, butter and sour cream.

I love cold pasta—ANY KIND! Macaroni and cheese, spaghetti, pizza—right out of the fridge. I also love cold baked beans. My sister-in-law (a Tri Delta!) fixes the best, and we always get some leftovers. I actually eat a small refrigerated dish of them as part of my breakfast if we have any left.
My wife just HATES THIS! But…as they say, there’s no accounting for some tastes!

Lox is strips of brined salmon, sometimes smoked. It is usually served on a bagel with cream cheese. Too often, it is too greasy to serve without cream cheese. Sometimes, tomatoes, onions, capers and/or cucumbers are also included on the sandwich.
If I were on death row, my last meal would be lox on either a pumpernickel bagel or an everything bagel or an onion bagel with Philadelphia brand cream cheese.
The last time I priced lox it was $16 a pound

I love Brussels sprouts. Roasted at a high temp in the oven, with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic.

I recently, at the ripe old age of 55, discovered that I also like Brussel Sprouts! Never thought I would, but they are so good!

Anchovies. When I order a caesar salad and the waiter asks if I want anchovies, I say hell yeah! (More politely, of course.)
Sushi. I first tried sushi when two of my sorority sisters dragged me to a sushi bar. Hmm, raw fish ... oh, wait, this is nummy!
Medium-rare steak. This is how I have always eaten steak. My MIL insists on eating steak medium-well. "I SEE PINK!!1!1!!" I had to convert my husband to the deliciousness that is medium-rare.

Because they have engineered them to be less bitter and they get roasted with seasonings instead of boiled to mush. I was shocked when my daughter was raving about them and did some research. They are NOT the brussel sprouts we were force fed as kids. https://www.bhg.com/news/brussels-sprouts-less-bitter/

My mother never cooked anything she didn't like and as an adult, I have discovered what a picky eater she was. So, I never had brussel sprouts as a kid. Had the roasted ones at a restaurant not long ago. :-)

My mother would, on occasion, buy frozen Brussels sprouts, and as AGDee stated, boiled them to mush. Had she only known about roasting fresh ones.

I agree with you about sushi, especially if it is salmon (surprise! surprise!)
I also like anchovies on my pizza, but none of my friends, family members or colleagues do. I will admit that eating anchovies is like eating spoonfuls of salt

As for french fries, I like horseradish sauce with mine, if I eat them. They're very low on my hit parade.

No eggs in them but sounds interesting!
