You guys didn't seem to be around to offer much advice when I was asking for it... But are sure quick to take offense. I wasn't considering this chapter, because I only went to a single event. Joining a soroity is a huge commitment, both financially and time wise. So I spent all of 20/30 minutes with one sister, I don't care what it is, that's not enough time to know. I wasn't considering the idea that they'd even give me a bid because of the lack of time I'd spent with them, and I was unsure in accepting it or for the same reasons. Worst case scenario as in: we don't get on/I don't feel comfortable with these people. Then yes. If that happens I will drop out. Which is perfectly fair given that it's a lifelong commitment.

Also, I'm a junior. I was asking about rushing as a senior next year because I didn't think I'd gotten a bid after only being able to go to two houses, getting cut for one for preference night, and only going to a single event for the other. Then I was offered a bid a few days later. :-/
