If her daughter has truly exhausted all personal connections then she should go to the
Alumnae Panhellenic group in the town or area that is closest to her, not start approaching individual sorority alumnae groups in whatever different areas that might be close by. There is a way these things are supposed to work to be most efficient and reasons why they are set up that way.
Giving any advice for a group that you do not belong to is never the right thing to do.
