I just can't see anyone in Michigan naming a snowstorm with a human name. Not going to happen. And I did live through the Blizzard of 78...we had to dig a cave in front of the front door to let our dog out.

Same here in NE Ohio. However, someone did make the comment that we do in fact name storms that drop 2+ feet of snow: WINTER.
