It was a beautiful sunny snow day here...with about a foot of snow in the driveway left from the deluge that ended at dawn. My husband was a conference and I told him he needed to get the mail and the snowblower out when he got home, because we were literally trapped. My dog loves the snow. We've made trenches for him in the backyard and he likes to run through them.
I just can't see anyone in Michigan naming a snowstorm with a human name. Not going to happen. And I did live through the Blizzard of 78...we had to dig a cave in front of the front door to let our dog out.
