Portrait of Grace Coolidge
Here is the story behind the portrait. It's from the Pi Phi blog.

Mrs. Coolidge's Pi Beta Phi pin is in the Smithsonian Institution attached to her inaugural gown.
I remember because I was visting D.C. with a good Pi Phi friend and she made us go to the Smithsonian just to look at that pin.

The dress in the portrait
Mrs. Coolidge gave the dress she wore in the portrait to the daughter of one of her maids. At the Pi Beta Phi Headquarters, there is a replica of the dress and the diamond arrow her "Round Robin" friends gave her before the portrait was dedicated.
