However, I worked out and got 4 points back...so I can have 5 more points of food if I wanted...but I feel full and content! Yay! I may treat myself to a 3 point skinny cow ice cream bar later, though.

While I'm not familiar with the new version of the program, I was basically raised on WW since my mom has been a leader for a really long time.
Your flex points and activity points are built into the program and are there for you to use. If you are hungry, use them! It makes the program more livable and makes you more likely to stick with it.
I've been hearing the "no more than 4 activity points a day" thing mentioned upthread for years, and it is a myth at least on the old Points program (like I said, I'm not familiar with Points Plus -- my mom is still a leader, but I live 500 miles away now). You can eat as many activity points as you earn.
