when I was working at Oklahoma, I seriously had to work on my not staring. I can't believe how different style is/was from when I was in university (which, let us note, was 08 for graduate school and 07 for undergrad!). I don't get the Nike Shorts trend, which was huge at OU. When the summer orientation camps came through my department, it was like the Boston Marathon starting line. I don't get it (well, OK, I do, because it is a million degrees in Oklahoma, but still...)

Ditto on the "shorts so short I can see your dupa". At that point, they are not shorts, they're very uncomfortable underwear with pockets.

I have to take a minute and lament the North Face Denali. If you want a nice fluffy fleece to wear under a jacket, awesome. But if you're looking for actual warmpth...it's not the thing you're after. It's not windstopper, it's not water resistant, and if you've got a dog or cat it is a permanent hair catcher. Let me talk to you about an actual jacket that would give you all of the above and more for the same price or less.

Pittsburgh's gift to you!

(Leaving church on Sunday, the car parked in front of us said: "You bet your dupa I'm Polish!" Yes, we are Catholics...how did you know? ;-))
